Description
KTM-12/16(F) is designed to perform high precision milling and turning operations in one machine.
Equipped with standard 8 milling and 7 tuning tools and C-Axis table, KTM-12/16(F) performs various machining operations such as milling, boring, and turning operations in one set-up, drastically improving machining accuracy and productivity.
Feature
- High Precision Positioning Accuracy
Utilizing Table Rotary Encoder(standard feature), precision table indexing can be achieved at0.001 degree. With optional X.Zscales, positioning accuracy can be improved up to ±0.001mm.
- High Precision Machining
With improved and advanced tool clamping method(Hirth Coupling; clamping force of 7 tons), KTM-12/16(F) can perform heavy duty turning operations without compromising accuracy and minimize tool run-out in milling operations.
- Rigid Cast Structure
KTM-12/16(F)'s heat symmetrical Rib and rigid cast structure is designed to minimize and prevent from mechanical structure deformations caused by heavy table loads and/or heavy load machining.
- High Speed Traverse
Equipped with high precision ball screws and AC servo motors, KTM-12/16(F) enables to feed X/Z-Axis at high speed(X/Z-Axis: 10m/min) without loosing accuracy.

Equipped with standard large capacity tool magazine(7 turning tools and 8 milling tools), KTM-12/16(F) can perform various machining operations with minimal tool change and set-up time, maximizing machine productivity.
